WHAT A WEEK!

Hi there! I am back... I had an accident last weekend...Friday the 1st of August. Actually I fell and broke two ankle bones...at my home. It was very early in the morning...like 7.00 in the morning. I wanted to go to the backyard to look at my herb plants when I accidentally slipped on a wet sandal and fell....prakkkkkkkk! phewwwwww the sound of the broken bones were so terrifying. I knew then that I have broken a bone. I yelled out for help and my husband hurriedly took me to the nearest hospital. Had the x-ray done and yesssss I broke my bone...two bones to be exact.
The pain was so torturing...and within an hour my ankle was swollen badly... Both of us got panicked but as expected the medical assistants at the hospital calmly told us that my injury was not urgent and they need to attend to the patients that need more attention or should I say...more 'emergency' than me! I remembered a friend who told me that the emergency section will attend to you immediately when they see blood coming out from the patient...and as for my case, I was not bleeding but sincerely...it was so darn painful....
While waiting, my husband decided that he would take me to the private hospital instead...and get things more well managed and attended. Before I left the medical assistant put a cast around my broken ankle to reduce movement and definitely the pain that I am experiencing.
By the time we reached at the Kuantan Specialist Hospital from Dungun Terengganu, it was almost 5.30p.m. Luckily we get to meet the orthopaedic, Dr Yong immediately. I went for another x-ray that afternoon and the doctor told me that a surgery need to be done to fix the bones. A metal plate with 7 screws were implanted at the broken areas the next morning during a one and half-hour surgery.
And now I am on a 2-months medical leave...
I must stop now and continue with more later...
