IF TOMORROW NEVER COMES...specially dedicated to my dearest hubby...Haswadi Yusof....

If I knew it would be the last time that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the God, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise,
I would videotape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say "I love you," instead assuming you would know I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.

For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day to say our "I love you's,"
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do's?"

But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say
how much I love you and I hope we never forget.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.

So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them and you'll always hold them dear,
Take time to say "I'm sorry," "please forgive me," "thank you," or "it's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

A CUP OF TEA WITH THE KP!...dedicated to all my B. OSM students of UiTM Terengganu

Salam
A cup of tea anyone? What a refreshing feeling to enjoy a cup of tea on an evening so peaceful and calm...Okay what is this "A Cup of Tea with The KP" story... It begins like this:

A Cup of Tea with The KP is a program which has started one and a half year ago...the first activity was organized somewhere in Mac 2007, and the second was on September 2007, the third was organized last April 2008. The program was first initiated for the purpose of students-KP (Koordinator Program) gathering, a get-together at the end of the semester just before final examinations. It is a platform given to the students to evaluate and re-evaluate their academic performance in the faculty as a whole. The idea was to have a direct two-way communication amongst students and the coordinator in all academic performance like GPA, CGPA achievements, activities organized throughout the semester, some tips for examination, some motivating and inspiring advice from the coordinator and of course plans for the coming semester. At the end of the session...a cup of tea for everyone....tea time!

Yes, only the Bachelor on Office System Management program has its "A Cup of Tea with The KP" in UiTM Dungun...so far.

So baca lah cerita kali ini utk sesi A Cup of Tea semester ini....online gitu!

Let me list down here:

1. Program 1 - 2 jam sahaja, bergantung kpd KP nak spend lama mana, tapi kalau tea-time ni biasanya sekejap...1 jam pun memadai jika maklumat dan mesej sampai kpd pelajar.

2. Buat di mana? Mana-mana dewan kat kampus yg muat utk 2oo org pelajar B. OSM.

3. Bila? Seminggu sebelum minggu ulangkaji atau sehari sebelum minggu ulangkaji...jangan buat sehari sebelum exam pulak.

4. Susah ke nak rancang? TIDAK SUSAH! Tetapi satu kali tu September 2007, sedikit kecewa, sebabnya salah saya terlewat sedikit inform pelajar...nak-nak pulak bulan puasa....yg datang dalam 20 org aje...ramai dah balik kampung buat kuih raya dan raya sakan.....ni masalah logistik bukan masalah program tu sebenarnya...satu lagi alasan mereka.."Puan...bulan pose la...mesti tak ada tea and food kan??" Ohhhhhh itu rupanya...

5. Refreshment? MESTI ADA! terutama Tea! Pelajar memang suka makan free ni...tapi semasa kali pertama program dianjurkan oleh saya, saya belanja pelajar2 sebab pelajar B. OSM ketika itu hanya 89 org. Tapi masuk kali ketiga buat, pelajar dah cecah 180 org...apa lagi mohon bajet TPP (Tabung Pembangunan Pelajar)...bukan apa first time tu nak ambil berkat agar idea dan usaha saya tu berhasil dan membawa kebaikan ... Alhamdulillah..

6. Bajet?

7. Apa nak cakap? Saya akan sediakan hand-out A Cup of Tea... basically kandungannya:

a. Objektif Akademik UiTM Terengganu...kena highlight pada pelajar sebab kalau mereka tak tahu hala tuju pencapaian akademik mereka...bagaimana UiTM Terengganu sendiri ingin mencapai objektif ini...so maklumat kena sampai kepada semua terutama pelajar2 yang bertungkus lumus ingin berjaya dalam akademik mereka. Jangan terkejut... ada juga pensyarah yg tak tahu pasal objektif akademik ini...serupa membawa kereta tanpa destinasi ... ataupun menanam sepohon pokok tetapi 'tak siram' dan 'baja'...harap 'air hujan' dan 'matahari' je..bagaimana tu??

b. Budak-budak ni tak reti bila masa saya marah dan bila masa saya serius sebab mereka mesra sokmo dengan saya....tapi alhamdulillah they know their limits...I make sure I put the 'line' when with them!

c. Antara sebab A Cup of Tea ini dibuat hujung semester ialah untuk memudahkan tugas KP dalam mengingatkan pelajar berkenaan hal Pra-Pendaftaran kursus semester akan datang (WAJIB!)...masa ni pelajar akan bersoal jawab pasal status kursus dsbnya...so KP kena prepare pelan pengajian sekali dalam handout (walaupun setiap semester baru diberikan....biasalahkan...pelajar ni...hilang la, lupalah dsbnya) no harm!, just prepare the info and again highlight to the students.. One thing important regarding the Minor and Elective courses...KP must be well-versed with the codes and the subjects as well as a little sinopsis of every code if possible (normally I just prepare those courses offered at Terengganu only...)

e. Apa lagi ye? Oh ya...akhir sekali perancangan semester akan datang. B. OSM mudah aje:

i. Guna tabung TPP..pelajar bahagian 4 sahaja (kuota fakulti FPTP)

ii. Family Day/Sukaneka semasa semester Julai - November...

iii. Seminar/Forum/Ceramah yang academic based only oleh pelajar bahagian 5 atau 6...pakat-pakat la ramai-ramai ye...

iv. Kalau ada additional...(biasanya saya ada aje additionalnya setiap sem....bila buat sesuatu tu saya suka tambahbaik apa yang kurang atau buat sesuatu yang baru utk variation, agar tanggungjawab sebagai KP yg saya pikul tu 'happening'.... memang 'pening' sungguh la...tapi Alhamdulillah puas hati. Org kata "belum cuba belum tahu", "tak kenal maka tak cinta", "belajar dari kesilapan" dan "penambahbaikan berterusan"
f. Program diakhiri dengan jamuan petang...apa-apa aje yang ada ikut bajet....tak payah susah sangat, sebab saya pasti selepas setiap sesi A Cup of Tea ni pelajar akan berfikiran positif dan semangat berkobar-kobar....pengalaman saya, saya selalu tak dapat makan sebab memang mereka makan beria-ia sehingga licin bekas makanan tu, ada sekali tu, seorang pelajar siap asingkan sepinggan mihun utk saya....maklumlah tuan rumah....layan tetamu sampai tak sempat makan... Seronok lihat gelagat mereka ni... hati pun puas.
Wahh! panjang betul entry kali ni...penuh space saya ni...whatever it is, this is only a very small part of what a KP does (my version of course)....there are tons of others that need to be accomplished....
Sincerely, I am very happy with my achievement (personally...to others ... I do not know) so far as the KP of the B.OSM program since July 2006 till August 2008. There were so many 'bittersweet' memories that I've experienced, the ups and downs of the "roller-coaster rides" that I've been through, "standing at the top of the hill" feeling and lots of others...
I'll share more later, InsyaAllah...

READ THIS... part 1

Salam

This time around, I am in the mood of sharing some motivating and inspiring quotes or mini-articles from the La Tahzan (Don't Be Sad). It is a compilation of hadith, sunnah, Al-Quran stories and quotes that are written as guidance and references that will answer all our grievances, problems, stresses and others:

CARILAH REZEKI TETAPI JANGAN TAMAK.

Sekian...

THE 'BIG' THING!

Salam

I have written some time ago about a big thing that is going to happen to our family...well..the 'big' thing is just in two weeks time! My dearest husband, Haswadi is leaving for Al Jubail, KSA soon very soon. His flight scheduled on the 10th of November. It means that he's going to 'leave' us temporarily...hopefully, may ALLAH blesses us and all preparation going on smoothly here in Malaysia as well as at the kingdom.
Here are a few things that we have been doing and completing lately before Haswadi leaves:

1. Medical check up for the kids and myself at KMC...total expenses RM1016.00 (one whole day spent at KMC!)

2. Passport for the kids RM450.00 (RM150 (32 pages) for each x 3 children) done at the Jabatan Imigresen Kuantan (spent about 2-3 hours only)

3. Renewal of my passport RM300 (32 pages) at Jabatan Imigresen Dungun...takes only 15 minutes to apply but 7-days to complete!

4. Haswadi bought a new baggage at Parkson Kuantan RM324.00 (size 25 inches).

5. Innova for sale!!! Got a few potential buyer but yet to close a deal....

6. Soon on the 7th of November, Mie-Paka (Haswadi's mother, my mother in law) will organize a 'kenduri' for her beloved son...at her house in Jalan Langsat, Paka. The 'kenduri' will also part of the family gathering that Mie used to organize.. she just love to invite people ...masak-masak and makan-makan...last time boleh gak saya ni 'sengseng' lengan membantu...bila dah patah kaki ni...kesian gak dia ...tapi adik beradik lain ada jugak untuk bantu.

I guess, that was so far the 'things' that have been going on lately that keeps me and the family busy...
Just the last weekend, we went to Kota Bharu, Haswadi's friend's wedding. And due to the extraordinary climate now at the East Coast, everyone of us fell sick... I just got back from the clinic..the last person in the house who fell sick..
Kesian Luthfil demam teruk...a few days already...he said "semua tak selera...tidur tak selera, makan pun tak selera....kalau air batu selera..." whoa...so clever ha you!
Ni tengah 'weng' sikit kepala...baru makan ubat...sakit urat, sakit tekak dan bisa-bisa badan...pehh sakit tuh...
Takpe nak rest cukup...wait wait...can rest ke? Ohhh tidak!

RAYA 2008 CELEBRATION

Welcome...Raya 2008

A view inside of our 'home sweet home'...raya 2008

This is our most recent photo together...on the 4th syawal. Look out for the two 'peepers' at the back!

With my students from OMB5OB group. Thank you for cheering me up. All the best in your undertakings!

Keluarga Haswadi, Paka Terengganu

Salam
Here are some photos during the raya celebration. Hanya yang empunya diri aje yang tahu all the blessings in disguise. Yet I still manage to entertain family members and guests who came by. Thank you for the thought, as well to my students who have visited to my house for raya...
