Like I wrote last night, this morning I went to the Institut Terjemahan Negara at Wangsa Maju. Sesat la sikit because I am only familiar with the Carrefour area...but the institute is a little further uptown. Anyway managed to reach there at 9.00a.m. Below is exactly what I spent this morning there:
Translation from Bahasa to English (BM to BI):
Birth certificate ------------RM50.00 x 3 certs = RM150.00
Marriage certificate --------RM80.00 x 2 certs(husband & wife) = RM160.00
plus 25% (one-day process..kes nak cepat) = RM 77.50
TOTAL= RM387.50
Wahh!not cheap la...
Tomorrow all the documents can be picked up at 10.00 a.m. And I plan to go to the Saudi Embassy right after that. Doesn't know what more cost could be incurred...better get prepared with a few hundreds more... The Saudi Embassy is located at Jalan Ampang, next to RISDA building. Pernah la lalu lalang jalan tu sebelum ni, like 3 - 4 years back...hopefully tak sesat lagi esok.
