Lagi lagi rumah, lagi lagi rumah...nak buat camana....Norma sayang sangat kat rumah ni. Setelah sekian lama ditinggalkan, namun jiwa dan raga masih bersarang di dalam rumah ni. Rumah kami ni dibina pada tahun 2006, sangat tinggi 'nilai'nya....bukan nilai $$$ tetapi the 'sentimental' value that the house carries. That was why, when Haswadi decided to move to Saudi in late 2008..all that came to my mind was what will happen to our house! What we were going to do with the house? We only managed to live in our home for two years, how can we let it go?
Eventually, we decided that the home stays as it is. NO renting out, what more SELLING it! It was a NO..NO decision. And now only that I realize, we have made exactly the right decision...to keep the house to ourselves only. So that whenever we are coming back home...the home is where it should be...this house!
We do have someone to take care of the house, I always wanted a tidy, clean house every time...so that whenever we come back home, the house is well and properly maintained...in spite of a little bit of minor wrecks here and there; like the roof top (due to the monsoon season here in Dungun, our house is located just 430 meters away from the South China Sea...wooo...sounds so thrilling), and a few water spots at the ceiling...all is still well and nice, Alhamdulillah.
Recently, when we got back to the house, Haswadi had to replace a few light bulbs. The one in the kitchen went kaput for a year already...so we had that replaced. Same goes to the one in the kitchen toilet and at the kitchen corridor. We also fixed three new air-conditions...now every room has one, to please the kids since it is considerably hot here in Dungun. Well, a two-month stay this time would be more pleasant and more comfortable... :-)
As for my part, I brought home few sets of curtain I bought at IKEA in Al Khobar. I knew that I would not have much time getting it here in Malaysia, so we brought it all over from Saudi. I had the living area curtains replaced, the TV room sliding door and also the kids' room curtain replaced....contented!!!

We don't have a lot of furniture, we only have basic ones. I prefer it to be more spacious, having small kids is better that way. A view from the main door...there Haikal is playing the PNP game. My cooking station, :-) It has windows all around its wall...save a lot of electricity during the day...no need a single lighting!
Our so simple living room, we had those furniture blanketed while we were away in Saudi. A peek from the family area towards the master bedroom door and the main entrance...and of course my bouquet of white hydrangea on the dining table. Again...windows all over...we love the ray of sun shining through the window...
The main dining at the living area, I love the big wall mirror. It was custom-made to fit at the dining wall. Our family favorite spot...the English breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper and 'lepak-lepak' table. I admit that I do a lot of 'lectures' here...we purposely designed the kitchen this way...cook and serve at the same place...hassle free...and my loyal eaters have to hear me talking while waiting for their food...huuuu...sounds so freaky. Last but not least, our TV room and the roses on the shelf...and again more sun light...hehehe
